Recently in the SEMA, premier automotive specialty product trade event, show at Las Vegas (according to it’s site it is not open to public), Toyota unveil its all-new 10^th generation corolla, or known as Altis in this part of the world.

We still do not have much technical details of the car, but from what we have found out so far, there are 2 offerings from Toyota, a 1.8L four-cylinder with dual-VVTi producing 132HP and a XRS model getting a whopping 2.4L producing 154HP.

What a disappointment, it is still not a digital speedometer, the gear lever and the dashboard looks exactly like the current model. Hopefully by the time the model reaches our shore, Toyota would have upgraded it.

This really rocks! I like the total design of the car, really sporty, updated with the modern hip era. It just blows me away.

Heard rumors that it will be launch early of the year locally.

the overall design will give honda another run for its partner. however the interior is still lost

I have seen this everywhere in China and in US now. The exterior appearance is better than the current version. However,what I have seen at China version is that, its interior quality is no better than what the current model is. To be honest, there wasn't really much of breakthrough of the exterior looking except that it looks more curvy than the current model. Overall shape remain pretty much the same.

Sometimes, i think people buy the car for the brand and also the engine quality. That's what i usually hear from my friends/buddies, and according to them Toyota engine is less gas consuming.

Not sure if this was worth the wait?!? Better then the 2008...probably not enough to unseat the civic.
