Mercedes-Benz USA has unveiled the new E320 Bluetec (how did they come up with this cool name?) diesel sedan in California. It is the first diesel powered vehicle to meet California’s strict diesel emissions standards.
The E320 Bluetec features a new-generation 3.0L 72-degree V6 diesel engine, featuring four valves per-cylinder. The baby brings along a whopping 208HP, with a fuel economy rating of 35MPG. Remember our previous blog where we were extremely impressed with driving a Toyota Prius, 76HP and approximately 42.1MPG.
You can read more of it here. Just wonder when we can get to test drive the baby below……

with the expecting raising gas next year, it's time for proton to start designing diesel engine cars. I would love to have, say my kancil to run on diesel. That saves me bucks per-week.

Recently, I was in San Francisco early this week for my business visit, I have seen Toyota Prius becomes very popular in US. It will be good that Malaysia Proton is embarking on hybrid car as a long run to reduce the dependence on oil. It also helps to promote environmental friendly and saves the world !!
