2007 Mat Rempit Contest

With
the inspiration from the 2007 Peugeot Design Contest, we
in Malaysia could hold our very own 2005 Mat Rempit Contest. No we are not trying to be cynical about
it, about sincerely thinks we should do something for
the Mat Rempit.
 We have heard many stories about these group of peoples,
some good and some
bad.... very bad!! Some of our nation leaders have come
out with very strong criticism for these motorbike
'lepakers'... while some youth leaders thinks this group
of people can be groom and there are a lot of hidden
potential in them. Well for the leaders who think that
this group of people can be groom, I think you should
get serious about it. Organizing 'gotong-royong' or
legalize motorbike convoy won't exactly help them. This
people are young and full of spirit raring to be
released. To tap their potential, this group of people
needed to be challenge, and challenge to what they are
best at. Here we are recommending 3 types of contest
that will tap their hidden potential.
1. Motorbike design contest
 Organize a motorbike design contest. The design will
have to cover either, mechanical, engine, or exterior
design. Emphasis have to be placed on motorbikes
performance, looks, handling and SAFETY. Due to some of
this folks might not be highly educated, they could
submit their design in mechanical drawings, sketch,
written ideas or even actual bikes. The winner of the
contest will be given a certain amount of money which
can then be utilized; a) further their studies in
automotive engineering b) open a motorbike shop. Special
attention will be placed to groom his/her potential.
2. Motorbike racing contest
Organize a motorbike racing competition. All Mat Rempit
rounded up will be forced to enter a racing competition.
The winner will then be groomed to be the next motor GP
racer. He will be paid and a coached hired to groom him
to be the next motor GP champion.
3. Stunt Bike contest
Organize a motorbike stunt competition. Only Mat Rempit
are allowed to enter this competition. No professional
stunt men its allowed. At the same time get in touch
with Hollywood producer of the next Fast and Furious
movie so that the winner can be featured as one of the
actor/stuntmen in the show. We personally feels that
acting in Fast and Furious is much better than the
recently 'Mat Remp-it Movie' or 'KL Menjerit' movie
which glories this activities. The winner will then be
groom into a stuntmen/actor for motorbike. He can also
be groomed to start a motorbike stuntmen company to
provide stuntmen to Hollywood, something like Jacky Chan
and his stunts men.
So dear leader's of our nation, we at luk4all has done
our part in trying to propose an -out of the box win-win
situation for both the Rempits and the public. You have
the power, money and capabilities to try to do something
about it; the ball is now in your hand.

Well thought of, at least I think the ideas above will work compare to organizing Mat Rempit Malaysia tour by our politicians. Who knows these untapped young talent might surprise us with some innovative ideas that could revolutionize GP racings..:)
