New Nissan Sentra 2007

With the introduction of
the new Honda Civic middle of the year, it has been
reported to sell like a hot "pisang goreng" (local fried
babana cake) compare to its "peers" competitors from
Toyota Altis and Nissan Sentra. This is later follow by
Toyota (hopefully this is not a rumor) in bringing in
the new Altis (know as Corolla outside Malaysia) early
next year to stay head-to-head challenge with Civic.
However,
we have not really heard anything from Nissan. Are they
still going to sell the existing model to compete with
the newer, sophisticated, stylish and sleeker Civic and
Altis in the market next year?
We may not know the
answer, but we have taken the liberty to find out what
is in store for us, if Nissan (Tan Chong) were ever to
take in the new 2007 Sentra next year. This baby is hot,
we have read quite a few good reviews on this car.
The new Sentra comes in
2.0 litre inline 4-cylinder engine that sends estimated
135 horse power and 140 pound-feet of torque to the
front wheels . It also features keyless startup system,
Bluetooth and an MP3 player hookup. That are something
cool, are they not?
Okay, well said, to cut
the story short, we will just leave you with the picture
as it tells a thousand words. Enjoy!

Oh man, when are we going to get this hot babe? Whoever Nissan official who's reading this, what are you waiting for? I'm going to hold off buying Civic for the new model untill at least April next year. Keeping my fingers crossed it will be available by then.

Haven't seen anything this sleek and elegant for a long while now. Releasing a 2.0 litre model made excellent business sense. The big question - will this be available next year. What will its price be? About RM130K? Hope so cos that's my budget.

I strongly believe it will be within that range as any higher it would lose the fighting ground to Civic or Altis (dont think Altis is even qualified to compete, even the new model kind of s***s). My brother in US has already driven one, according to him the new model is far way better than Altis (Corrolla), and slighter better than Civic (like acceration, handling). In term of gas consumption, not much different. But my bet goes to the new Nissan model. I can already imagine it with full body kits and 18" inch wheels...man... definitely going to sell my old Sentra to get this new hot baby...that IF Tan Chong can get the new model into Malaysia next year...sigh. If any Tan Chong official is reading this, do not hesitate anymore, this is the testimonial (at least from me) that it will sell like hot cake locally. Bye bye bye Civic and Altis.

I think Edaran Tan Chong Motor is not doing a great job in marketing Nissan's products. I've read from some article that they are planning to concentrate on the nissan murano which i believe is way to expensive for the average Malaysians. Instead, what they should do is concentrate on this model to compete against toyota and honda! And why are they selling teana when clearly this sentra 2007 will be a hit!
I hope they wont wait till end of this year, cuz many Malaysians will be disappointed. Even if it is out by end of this year, by then, its closest rivals, Toyota and Honda will outpaced with newer models. good luck Edaran.

Agree with you, not taking in the new Sentra is the worst choice ever made. It's like selling Intel Pentium 4 processor versus the Quad Core Intel chip. Sooner or later, customer will start to shift away from the old Sentra to newer and better model.

fxxx the Tan Chong, why would the hell nissan has to create a millionaire b4 selling the cars to malaysian? Teana has been on the road in Singapore for few years, now only soon to be come. Pls, Nissan can setup his own marketing team here in malaysia, just like Honda.
