So many of us have seen the advertisement by Isuzu Dura Miles challenge, Bangkok -> KL 1501KM in one full tank. You can read it here.

 

 

Recently luk4all.com.my has conducted her own challenge. Over the weekend our editor has decided to take his parents on a holiday to Genting Highlands, to pay Uncle Lim a visit. Below is our very own achievement.

  

1.    Penang -> Ipoh (breakfast at Foh San Tim Sum) -> Genting Highland (all the way to the top, FirstWorld car park) -> Ipoh (where my gas tank indicator fuel signs start flashing)

2.    Gas tank was fill up prior to the trip at Esso station.

3.    Trip meter was reset to zero after filled up, and at re-fill back in Ipoh, it showed that I have covered ~568KM.

4.     Driving speed a long highway, 110KM/H at times, but some times speed till 150km/h. to our readers …..PLEASE OBEY OUR 110km/h speep LIMIT!!

 

And the vehicle I was driving was a Toyota Vios, which has a fuel tank capacity according the Toyota website of 42Litre. Not sure is this compared to a Honda city or other models, but if you have a similar experience please do share with us your vehicles performance.
