We
have an un-official source that Toyota will be launching
the Ractis model after Chinese New Year in Malaysia for
the price tag of RM55K to RM69K. It will comes in
1.3VVT-i and 1.5VVT-i engine that exceeds by 5% the
level called for by 2010 Japanese fuel efficiency
standards and achieve emission levels 75% lower than
2005 standards.
Again, we have to warn
our readers the authenticity of the information, however
if any Toyota officials is reading this article, we
appreciate it if they could be able to confirm it for us.

This got us scrambling to
our feet to search for reviews and information in the
net to share with our readers. We want to spare all the
non-technical junkies out there so we will just
summarize it.
Basically, the car has a
small look from outside but a roomy space in the inside.
The best part is that it comes with the panoramic glass
roof (this is optional to buyer), but in Malaysia we
wouldn't have much use of it anyway, as you be inhaling
heavy smokes and baked under the hot sun. So, we believe
the Malaysia model will not come with this feature (we
dare Toyota to prove us wrong).

And below are the photos:

Looks like Myvi.

Really like the interior,
it has character and style.

Don't think this will
work well in Malaysia. Unless driving by the beaches.

Back view. Now it looks a
bit like ATOS.

Side view.
Comments:
IMHO, this Ractis is the new face lift version of toyota Spacio. lots of them can be found here in Kuching... no way below 70,000, spacio is well over 70,000.

errr... ractis and rush is totally different car. Rush is more of an SUV, while ractis is more of a kenari class. Both model is avaliable in Singapore. Anyway just hope we could get more variety in m'sia post-afta
