How do you
save 40% of
your salary?
We are very
to sorry to
tell you
that we do
not have an
answer to
the question
we posed but
we know of
an amazing
person who
does. He is
our former
ACA Chief,
Datuk
Seri
Zulkifli Mat
Noor.
This amazing
person was
recently
freed of
criminal
misconduct,
abuse of
power by our
Attorney
General. He
was accused
to have lots
of money and
properties
which some
people could
not figure
out how he
could amass
other than
through
means of
wrong
doings.
However
after
investigations,
the AG found
out that
Datuk Seri
Zulkifli
saved almost
40% of his
income and
they showed
that there
was reason
to believe
he had the
capability
to
accumulate
the savings
which were
loaned to
his
children.
You can read
in details
here.
Personally I
could never
been able to
save even
20% of my
pay, I am
truly amaze
by Datuk
Seri
Zulkifli
capability
and
definitely
would like
to learn of
his
technique.
Why am I so
amaze? Let
me share
with you...
Below are
some math
that I came
up with.
-
A person
to hold
such
high
position,
I would
assume
he would
be
hitting
the max
% of
income
tax,
which I
think
its
about
28% of
his
income
-
KWSP
would
take 11%
of his
income
-
Savings
40%
The total %
of his
expenditure
from what I
can figure
out is
already 79%,
leaving
remaining
21% for his
cars, homes,
utility,
food,
insurance,
medical,
wives,
children and
etc. And
that to me
is truly
amazing!!!
With all
respect
Datuk Seri
Zulkifli is
truly my
amazing
Malaysian.
We should
definitely
request him
to share his
savings
technique to
all
Malaysians
who are
having tough
time
managing
their money,
in fact I
think our
local
University
should make
it a
compulsory
session for
all our
graduating
students to
attend his
sharing on
money
management,
as we keep
hearing this
days how our
graduates
are falling
into credit
card debts.
Datuk Seri
should even
write a book
on it, I am
very sure it
will be a
best seller
in Malaysia
or even
around the
world.
Here is our
truly glocal
Malaysians…
to me!!
