Is This Seditious?

I was surfing through www.utusan.com.my and noticed this article. It really struck me to see a major newspaper in Malaysia publishing the article below. Isn’t it breaking some seditious law? No wonder after 50 years, we are still so much separated by this the word RACE, rather than ONE MALAYSIAN facing the CHALLENGES of a globalize world. How long more do we need to learn that competition is not within Malaysia anymore but with other countries for a piece of the world economy pie. And I have to stress, the questions is no longer, ‘who has the bigger economy pie in Malaysia?’ but ‘who has the bigger FDI or asian economic pie?’ Have a good read below and a good cry after that…….. you can also read the article here.

BISIK-BISIK AWANG SELAMAT

Mereka setia menyokong kerajaan sejak merdeka lagi. Kalau diikutkan, mereka lagi berhak membuat pelbagai tuntutan.

Mahu apa lagi?

Awang – Membara dalam diam.

Shouldn't the government revoke the license of this newspaper company? This is contrasting to the Merdeka Spirit just 2 days away. All the BIG talks of harmony and this article on local newspaper is going AGAINST the pledge of PM and all Malaysian. What a boomer !!

This artical is a seriously condeming a race & religion. When we tal about nation or country..country issue should come first based on law and not based on religion. I will said we are still far behind in building a true malaysian consep. action should take first on those people writing this kind of artical which some people taking it as cheep puplicity. First of all the BN goverment should start showing a true governace thru their administration to the teach the public about balancing people life in all races and not just one.

The BN. government should ensure that all the races inside the country are BANGSA MALAYSIA after 50 years of independence .She must not divide the Malaysian into Malays, Chinese ,Indians and other races in order to earn the respect of her own citizens and other foreigners.
Why can't the BN government achieve these simple task? She should be fair to all the races irrespective of their origins in order to achieve this task .
Hopefully we will see all the Malaysian calling themselves MALAYSIAN after this 50th MERDEKA !!!

Cintaillah negara Malaysia KITA !

MR! Awang Selamat is purposely creating a racial issues among the MALAYSIAN....who are Malays, Chinese, Indians and others. With this statement it shows how fanatic and racist this gentlemen is. What is our BN government is doing? Are they just pretends nothing has happen. I think MR! Awang Selamat should apologize to all the Malaysian Community. I hope whatever I have learned in school about Muhibah is right.

Allow me to speak (pls ignore my grammar mistakes): To all my fellow friends who have the spirit of own race or country. It is good to have this kind of strong community within own race. I admire that - seriously.

I am a Malay myself and have a lot of Indian, Chinese and i can say more than 10 ethnics in Malaysia - being around me as good friends. We are not somebody who politically agressive about those rights issue - we are sorry. BUT, what we need from all those HINDRAF supporters or anyone who might think about fair and equality - i'm sorry to say that this is Malaysia. Malay struggle in this very own country to have better living and being good to others - as a human being, not pretending. Chinese themselves - the story came in from the very own China, and struggle to have better living in Malaya as business trends of Chinese. Indian as well came in from India to have the same better living.

Brtish might have wrongly plot their own leaders here whom create such unfair situation as what have been said. However, we have already 50 years under KEMERDEKAAN - no more British ruling this country. They made mistakes - all of the Malayan people had already fight for this KEMERDEKAAN together regardless their races. This is what we achieve today.

My words here are not to attack, compromise or being racist at any point - my fellow friends. I just want us all to focus more on how to manage the country together from any level of Malaysian. We all have our own political party ourselves. Why can't we just use these medium? I know the answer might be slow or unefficient (in our own definition of 'efficient') - but by creating public critics like the what-can-be-called-as-riot ... we are just not going anywhere. Past is past and can't be turned back. We are also not witnessed any of the rights cases in the past. What we saw the developing country here in Malaysia.

I just feel sad since 2 such 'events' happens recently. If Samy and the gang is not efficient enough for his post to defend the Indians - fight him down and recommend somebody who willing to be fair like we shall deserve. But, need to take note that politicians is politicians. They do have their own agenda. P. Uthaya Kumar or Samy or Kayveas - they are all politicians same as our Malay leaders. What makes each of these people differents is the important thing to see. Are they efficient enough in bringing the success to the community - that's important. If they can fight even when they are alone - that's the fighter.

Finally, i really want to say thank you for the editor here for publishing my words. I'm not against any race or ethnics - but i do wants all my fellow friends here to have better understanding in creating the world PEACE!

My apologies to anybody who feel uncomfortable with my words.
