New Toyota Altis 2007

Finally,
the breaking news is out. Toyota Corolla Axio has been
officially launched in Japan on 10th October 2006, and
in Malaysia we should be expecting a new Altis (in
Malaysia Toyota Corolla is sold as Toyota Altis) by next
year. Well, that is something we are keeping our fingers
crossed for, hopefully we can get the new model by early
2007.
The new model marks the
10th Generation of Corolla and we believe it will
steadily stay on the local best seller chart. How about
fuel consumption? That would be about 17.2 km per-litre.
There you go ladies and
gentlemen, the new Corolla Axio.
Still look similar to the
current Corolla (Altis) model, is it not?
Elegant, sporty and well,
it's Toyota.
Brand new head light.
Aerodynamic design and
slick look cockpit.
Centre console is more
smooth and stylish.
Multi purpose steering
just like Camry model.
Looks kind of roomy too.
Can't help to lay our hands on it.
Full view. White sure
looks pretty.
Side view. Bet it will
look even better with full body kit.
Rear view. Toyota GOA
frame structure still remains on this model.
Front view. That reminds
me of Toyota Vios.
Definitely will be the
hot competitor for Honda Civic.
Would nicely fit into
parking lots without any hassle of shifting gear
back-and-forth.
Nothing beats this, it
comes with reverse camera sensor. Hopefully Malaysia
version will have this too.
Comments:
Looks the same to me, except for some minor exterior improvement and the cockpit. Other than that, sure feels like the old Altis model. Can't Toyota do better? The Civic and 2007 Sentra sure looks hotter than Altis. At least i'm not going to put my money on this model.

Except for the reverse camera, this model s*** BIG time. Well done to Civic and Sentra (if the 2007 model is ever going to be in Malaysia) for making such a 'beautiful' creature for us fellow humans.

suits better in the "family sedan" category than "craze-for-speed bachelors" category.. apparently not as sporty and fierce looking as the 2006 Honda Civic even without modulo body kits!! thumbs down on looks...

Giving 2 stars out of 5. I think even the our own old Wira design model looks better. Come on, we need something more out of the box from Toyota. Even my grandma can design a better looking car than this :)

Honestly, i prefer the older model altis. As for the new Altis the design s**cks big time. Its looks like a camry in front but the back looks like something else. If toyota wants to compete with Honda and Nissan they will have to do better. Thumbs up to the new Civic, Nissan Sentra and the new Toyota Camry.

You guys that dont like the new designs are having someehting wrong with your eyes. The new design looks Cool to me,,,the new Civic is UGLY like sh** u know and Sentra also doesnt look nice. waht are u guys talking about? Toyota corolla design is not meant to be 'fierce'but more well suited to working professionals..they are more matured and do not need all these fierce looking cars that more suitable for road racers and mat rempits lahhh....TRUE STYLE NEVER SHOUTS!!!!

agreed 210% with comments from TOYOTAS.
besides, the design looks subtle..not too raw..not trying too hard to be what it's not..
i think, corolla designs was not intended to snatch a quick attention. it grows on you over time instead.
not like some over kill sporty design that lose it's attraction in a long run..miahahaa..
and the fact that it's a family car..
it looks quite matured, you know?

I think that this new corolla axio is better than the other models like Altis : (thailand made) su**s big time! , Vios , especially Honda Civic , sentra , stream..they jus look fierce but they have no looks at all..I prefer this toyota corolla axio more than the rest..it has new looks , more elegant , new cockpits , suited for a family..It just cool..Big Time!!

Those guys that chose CIVIC,SENTRA,ALTIS all has something wrong with their eyes..they looks like a load of SH*t.I prefer this toyota corolla axio model because it is came from JAPAN..but those ALTIS is made from 'THAILAND'..IM SO NOT GONNA REGRET PUTTING MY MONEY INTO THIS CAR..
