What's Wrong With Us?

Today's
article is not so much about automobile or properties
but more about us, as a Malaysian. Just what is wrong
with us.........
In the recently concluded Badminton competition,
Malaysian Open, our national no.1 single crashed out in
Quarter finals. This is his first home defeat in five
years, no one has beaten him since 2003. However
according to him, he is glad that he is finally defeated
as now he can shed his "Jaguh Kampung" tag.......
We at luk4all.com.my are just appalled by his
statements. He could have just simply said,
"I apologized for my
in-ability to defend our Malaysian crown, but I will
train harder to make sure I bring glory back from
competition overseas and make sure I bring the Malaysian
Crown back next year".
We feel what he has mentioned; some how do sum up our
attitude. Malaysian in a way is a "Jaguh Kampung". We
have our own Malaysian Book of Record, we swam across
the English channel but only certified by Malaysian, we
have our "Jaguh Kampung" national car which once have
local market share of over 60% but now losing market
share by the day, we have the our celebrated "angkasanaut"
(which until now I am still not sure what is there to
celebrate).
To sum up we are the loudest at home and only to you and
me. We have to wake up NOW, we need to be the best not
only in our home soil but outside the country. The world
is flat, we need to make sure we are TRULY the best
locally and compete globally with the rest. The
competition is now not only among us Malaysian in
Malaysia, but with people around the world in Malaysia
and around the globe. THE WORLD IS NOW FLAT!!
Comments:
At least we still have (to name a few) Nicol and Datuk Michelle Yeoh to make our country proud. However, this will not last long, we need all Malaysian to really look beyond our own country and make it BIG in the global market. We could not afford sitting idle and wasting away our time while our neighbors are working hard in overtaking us.
Time to wake up now fellow Malaysians!

we need a nicol david in every area, sports, government, GLC, universities.... a person that will give his/her best in everything
